Shoe Sizing Guide
How to Measure Your Foot
1. Place a sheet of paper on a hard floor against a wall
2. Stand on the paper with your heel against the wall
3. Wear the socks you plan to use with the shoes
4. Mark the tip of your longest toe
5. Measure from the wall to the mark — this is your foot length
6. Always measure both feet — use the longer measurement

Best time to measure: In the afternoon or evening when feet are largest (they swell during the day)
Size System Formulas
US Women: size = 3L − 21 (L = foot length in inches)
US Men: size = 3L − 22
UK / India: size = 3L − 23
EU: size = 1.5 × foot length in cm + 2 (Mondopoint)
Japan / Mexico: size = foot length in cm
China: size = 2 × foot length in cm − 10
Size Conversion Tips
US Women vs Men: Women's sizes run about 1.5 sizes larger than men's (Women's 8 = Men's 6.5)
US vs UK: US sizes are about 0.5–1 size larger than UK sizes
EU sizing: No gender distinction — based purely on foot length
Half sizes: EU and China typically don't have half sizes; round to nearest
Width: Narrow (A/AA), Standard (B/D), Wide (C/E), Extra Wide (2E/4E)

Always try shoes on when possible — sizes vary between brands.
Buying Shoes Online — Key Tips
• Know your foot length in cm — it's the universal measure
• Check each brand's specific size chart, not just general tables
• European brands often run true to EU size; American brands vary
• Leave 0.5–1 cm of space at the toe for comfort
• Athletic shoes often run a half size large — order accordingly
• Children's feet grow fast — allow 1–1.5 cm of growing room
